Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Akkas Media. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our media packages and services. By purchasing any of our services, you agree to the terms described below.
1. General Policy
Due to the nature of our work—which includes creative production, time allocation, resource planning, staffing, and software licensing—all purchases are considered final and non-refundable, except in the limited cases outlined in Section 2.
Once a project has commenced, refunds will not be issued.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are only available in the following specific situations:
a. Duplicate Payment
If you were charged twice for the same service, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
b. Service Not Delivered
If Akkas Media is unable to begin or deliver the service due to internal operational reasons, you will receive a full refund.
c. Cancellations Before Work Begins
If you request cancellation before any work has started, you may receive a refund minus a 20% administrative and processing fee.
Definition of “Work Commenced”
A project is considered commenced—and therefore ineligible for a Section 2.c refund—once any of the following have occurred:

Initial consultation or strategy meeting

Submission or approval of the creative brief
-
Resource allocation (scheduling, team assignment, equipment preparation)
-
Creation of the first draft, outline, or sample content
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following services cannot be refunded once the project has commenced or the service period has begun:

Social media management packages after the first scheduled workday
-
Photography, videography, or editing services once the session is completed or editing has started
-
Ad management fees (Meta, Google, TikTok) and all media spend
-
Custom designs, branding, and marketing strategy development
-
Any deliverables already shared or partially delivered
-
Discounted, bundled, or promotional packages
4. Revisions Instead of Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the delivered content, we offer:

Up to two (2) rounds of revisions, unless otherwise stated in your package

Adjustments to align with your brand identity, tone, and approved creative brief
Refunds will not be issued based on subjective preferences, stylistic differences, or changes of direction after delivery and revisions.
5. Project Delays
Refunds will not be issued for project delays caused by:

Failure to provide required information, approvals, logins, or materials
-
Changes to project scope requested after commencement
-
External platform issues (Instagram, Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
6. Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are shared during the project onboarding phase. These timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
A delay does not qualify for a refund unless a guaranteed delivery date was explicitly agreed upon in writing as part of the service contract.

Our team will review your request within 5–7 business days. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10–14 business days after approval.
8. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage resolving issues directly with us before initiating a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without prior contact will be considered a violation of this policy and may result in:

Immediate suspension or termination of services

Legal action to recover fees, costs, and damages under UAE regulations
-
Additional administrative and processing fees
9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the regulations of Sharjah Media City (SHAMS).
